I upgraded from a BBExpress to the Pro mainly for the steaming power but there are a lot of things I love about the Pro.
I love the menu interface so much easyer to work with then the flashing button lights on BBE, grinder adjusments are easy to use, I like the little things too like the screw that hold the group head screen has a horizontal hole through it to allow water to spread out across the group head screen better, heat up time to brew is in seconds and you don’t have to empty the drip tray as often, plus you have 9 colors to choose from for your Pro.

Barista Pro is a perfect home espresso machine. Compact with all the functions you need to brew a good cup of coffee. Stylish and chic. It’s amazing that machine is ready in few seconds. The only thing I don’t like is the water tank part. It’s in the back of the machine, could not see anything might happen, sometimes water came out on the bottom without knowing. I believe the design of the handle should be strong enough to hold full tank of water while you are transferring from the sink to machine, but it feels a little bit scary. Great machine.

I purchased this almost a month ago after seeing one at my sister-in-laws’ house . . . best purchase I have made in a while. The system works flawlessly, it’s simple to navigate through the steps and the quality of espresso that I get is as good as any coffee shop can do.

We rely on our Barista Pro every day of our lives, and it had issues leaking water. Breville’s support was very helpful, even sending me a video chat to observe the issue. I was very impressed with their support throughout this process!

It works great, once you get the hang of pulling shots! This is our first espresso machine and also our first time attempting to pull shots. It came with a LOT of trial and error + youtube tutorials. My favourite feature is the 3 second heat up time thanks to the thermojet. It’s all around a great machine. The only thing I wish it had was a lever for the steam/hot water feature. It comes a dialling knob and not very user friendly.
I highly recommend this product but I’ll warn you it’ll take some dedication and discipline to get through the learning curve if its your first experience with any espresso machine. It was pure misery learning to dial it in and pull a good shot. Lol. But thats not on the machine, thats on the natural finickiness of pulling espresso shots. Totally worth it and highly recommend the Breville Barista Pro.

Making the best lattes I’ve ever tasted with this machine! Also greatly enjoy the instant hot water for tea. I feel like that feature is generally underrated, but I use it multiple times daily and the temperature is perfect. My only complaint is the tamper that comes with it is a bit too small, so I purchased another one, along with a helpful dosing funnel to help keep from losing grounds before tamping. So pleased with this machine overall.

If you have experience with dialling in your grind you can pull beautiful creamy shots right out of the box with this bad boy! I had to adjust the internal ring within the grinder to get a finer grind for the beans I was using.The digital interface makes it easy to time your shots and select other options. 3 second heat up time is impressive. Makes great textured milk as well, Its kinda the flagship of home expresso machines!

Breville was excellent on sending a replacement for our machine that had some issue. Original one kept saying fill water tank but it was full so perhaps a sensor issue? The barista pro makes a wonderful shot, perfect for Americano or Lattes. I’m so happy to have it back and given the excellent support , I am confident with my other Breville appliances should they also need warranty work will be taken care of.

I bought my parents the Touch for Christmas, and after drinking the espresso for a few days, I needed my own. Keurig and drip coffee just doesn’t do the trick after tasting the espresso from the Breville! I use it daily and will probably hook my generator to it during hurricane season so I never have to go without it. Will probably buy a bambino to travel with also. My favorite household item
